RABO Battalion Buddy Event with CSX

Join CSX Pride in Service and Operation Gratitude in assembling Battalion Buddy teddy bears for the children of deployed United States service members. Together, we’ll make a significant impact by preparing about 200 Battalion Buddy Bears. These stuffed bears, dressed in military uniforms, are intended to offer comfort to military children and acknowledge their families’ sacrifices. We’ll guide you through the assembly process with a comprehensive tutorial.
Since 2019, CSX has sponsored the assembly and delivery of over 13,500 Battalion Buddies! This event is part of CSX’s 2025 commitment to assemble and distribute an additional 13,000 Battalion Buddies to the children of deployed service members nationwide.
Interested individuals must register in advance to attend the event.

What to expect
Once you’ve registered, Operation Gratitude will send you an email confirmation as well as an event box containing the following items:
(5) Battalion Buddy Kits; each Kit to include:
Camo Bear Jacket
Pre-Portioned Bear Stuffing
Operation Gratitude Neck Tag
(5) Custom CSX Neck Tags
Note: A few select boxes will include a “Special Item” (to be explained at event)
Prepaid return shipping label
Internal and external packing slip with Operation Gratitude identification barcode
