An Important Update

# An Update on Volunteering and Donations

What you love about Operation Gratitude is not going away. This mission is growing, and becoming more accessible than ever before.

On April 21, 2026, Operation Gratitude launched our Virtual FOB, the most significant expansion in our organization's history. For the first time, people across the country can find ways to serve, connect with recipients, and share gratitude with service members, veterans, and first responders in their own communities.

As part of this transition, we want to clearly explain what is changing, what is not changing, and what is new.

## What is changing

-   • Our Chatsworth facility is no longer accepting in-kind donations of any kind. 
-   • Please do not ship, mail, or drop off items at our Chatsworth address. 
-   • Items sent to our Chatsworth facility cannot be processed, stored, or returned. 
-   • Daily volunteer sessions in Chatsworth will end on April 30, 2026. 

## What is not changing

-   Our mission to say thank you to those who serve. 
-   Your ability to volunteer and take part in this mission, through the Virtual FOB and nationwide community events. 
-   Financial contributions by check can still be mailed to: Operation Gratitude, P.O. Box 260257, Encino, CA 91426-0257, financial contributions only. 

## What is new

-   Our Virtual FOB at operationgratitude.com is now open to everyone who wants to say thank you to those who serve. 
-   Volunteers can now find opportunities to serve from anywhere in the country. 
-   The Virtual FOB includes new ways to connect with first responders, veterans, and service members in local communities. 
-   Community Assembly Days and Volunteer Activations will bring Operation Gratitude into cities and towns nationwide. 
-   Some items, including letters and paracord, are still accepted through other channels. The Virtual FOB explains what is currently accepted and where to send it.
